Strict Non-Commercial Commitment: A CORDA is a registered Association Loi 1901 (RNA W093005169). Volunteering with us is an act of pure civic solidarity. We never sell products or services, and all workshops remain 100% free of charge to the public. All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.
Structured Mentorship
You will never be left alone or unprepared. Every new volunteer is paired with an experienced coordinator and receives full introductory guidance on group animation, non-judgmental listening, and workshop safety.
Flexible Commitment
Whether you have two hours once a month or one afternoon per week, we adapt to your personal availability. Every contribution directly helps sustain our public interest missions across rural Ariège.

1. Mobile Caravan Logistics & Driver
2 Sats / MonthHelp transport portable printing presses, ceramic wheels, and art kits to rural mountain communes. Set up temporary workshop stations in village halls, welcome arriving villagers, and assist with packing equipment.
- Commitment: 1 or 2 Saturdays per month (09:00 – 17:30).
- Requirements: Valid driving license (Category B), friendly demeanor, basic physical mobility.
- Training: Vehicle safety review and route planning guidance provided.
2. Healthcare Art Companion
Weekday AfternoonsAccompany our professional art facilitators during sessions at the Centre Hospitalier Ariège Couserans (CHAC) and local EHPAD elder-care residences. Distribute paints, offer warm encouragement, and share gentle conversation with patients and seniors.
- Commitment: Tuesday or Thursday afternoon (13:30 – 16:30).
- Requirements: Empathetic listening, patience, respect for clinical hygiene and patient confidentiality.
- Training: Healthcare environment orientation conducted by our medical liaison.
3. Youth Workshop & Digital Media Assistant
Wednesdays / ThursdaysSupport adolescents and teenagers in Saint-Girons as they learn digital sound recording, graphic design, comic illustration, and street art mural techniques. Help supervise equipment, assist with technical troubleshooting, and encourage teamwork.
- Commitment: Weekly or bi-weekly after-school lab (17:00 – 19:30).
- Requirements: Passion for youth development, enthusiasm for digital or visual arts.
- Training: Youth safety charter, child protection protocols, and pedagogical coaching.
4. Community Assembly Welcomer & Host
Monthly EveningBe the friendly face welcoming diverse neighbors to our monthly Open Creative Salons and Public Civic Forums. Help manage the welcome desk, assist newcomers in feeling at ease, set up acoustic instruments, and prepare community refreshments.
- Commitment: One Friday evening per month (18:00 – 21:30).
- Requirements: Warm social skills, openness to diverse cultural backgrounds, reliability.
- Training: Intercultural communication and community facilitation orientation.
